It's great to be at the TIME Summit on Higher Education with such a distinguished group of leaders. All of you have thought long and hard about the future of higher education. And I'll try to be brief before we turn to the panel discussion.

First things first--let me just say how disappointed Secretary Duncan was that he couldn't make the trip today. But he asked me to convey his praise and pride for the hard work that brought you to this graduation day and earning your degree.

The U.S. Advisory Commission on Accessible Instructional Materials in Postsecondary Education for Students with Disabilities (AIM Commission) will meet Tuesday and Wednesday at Ohio State University in Columbus. A public hearing is set for Wednesday evening aimed at gathering experiences by students with disabilities on obtaining instructional materials in the postsecondary environment.
