Secretary Duncan to Speak in Distinguished Lecture Series at William J. Clinton Center

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will deliver a lecture at the William J. Clinton Center in Little Rock, Ark., as part of the Frank and Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. CDT. Secretary Duncan's lecture will address current topics in education reform and the administration's back-to-school education agenda.

Civil Rights Assistant Secretary to Participate in Education Roundtable Hosted by Ebony Magazine, University of Chicago Urban Education Institute

Russlynn Ali, assistant secretary for the office for civil rights at the U.S. Department of Education, will participate in “Public Schools: Private Innovations,” an education roundtable in Chicago today, Wednesday, Aug. 11.
