The topic of the forum is “Investing in Communities of Color.” Secretary Duncan’s panel will address meeting the economic needs of the African American Community.

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Labor Secretary Hilda Solis will participate in two events in Philadelphia on Monday, Feb. 28. Duncan and Solis will tour the 1199C Training and Upgrading Fund’s Learning Center, a joint labor-management partnership that provides job skills training in the health fields to over 2,000 adult students every year.
