Charlotte Mecklenburg Student Art to Showcase at U.S. Department of Education Starting Monday

The U.S. Department of Education will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick off the exhibit of student art work from North Carolina’s Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2011. The exhibit will include 70 K-12 students’ works of art, and the opening will showcase performances by Myers Park Camerata’s High School String Ensemble and Bradley Middle School Dance Corp.

Education Secretary to Hold Roundtable Discussion with Community College Students
