OERI'S NEW NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTERS

To address nationally significant problems and issues in education, the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI) supports university-based national educational research and development centers. The Office recently funded seven new centers following a nationwide grant competition. The centers were funded for fiscal years 1996 through 2000. Each center has callaborating partners. (For a listing of the partners, contact each center directly.) The new centers, plus three existing ones funded prior to 1996 are:
