• World Wide Web browser such as Mosaic or Lynx (URL = http://www.ed.gov);

• Gopher client (gopher to gopher.ed.gov or select North America-->USA-->General-->U.S.-->Department of Education);

• FTP client (ftp to ftp.ed.gov, logon: anonymous);
