All deadlines for competitions are tentative and should be verified
with the contact given below or through the Federal Register or
Commerce Business Daily. Grant competitions reference the
appropriate Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA)
numbers.
Winter
The next round of the Challenge Grants for Technology in Education
competition will begin this winter, with applications due in the
spring. Approximately 20 new grants will be awarded by September
1997. A copy of the new application guidelines will be posted on
the Department's Web site, http://www.ed.gov. For more information
about the program, call the Information Technology Office at
208-3882.
