Libraries TELL IT

As part of its contract with OERI to train state library agency personnel, the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Library and Information Studies has developed a framework for planning and evaluating library programs and services: TELL IT--Talk about the vision; Explore design alternatives and approaches; Learn from what's happening; Let people know what happened; Integrate the results with ongoing services; Think about how it all worked.

Personnel from state library agencies attended two summer workshops to learn about TELL IT and how to train local librarians in using this model. A manual to assist in training is being finalized.
