• Update to State Dual Enrollment Policies: Addressing Access and Quality
  This report updates the information contained in the 2004 report that examines dual enrollment policies in the 50 states. Based on the new information highlighted in the report a total of 40 states have policies that guide dual enrollment program operations.

• NCES Releases Two New Reports Funded by OVAE
  The first, Dual Credit and Exam-Based Courses in U.S. Public High Schools, provides baseline data on the prevalence, enrollment and characteristics of dual credit courses in public high schools. The survey also presents findings on the prevalence of such exam-based courses as Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB). The second, Dual Enrollment of High School Students at Postsecondary Institutions, provides information on the participation in college-level courses by high school students and the characteristics of dual enrollment programs.
