The report card and the monitoring tables were created shortly after the publication of standards and indicators regulations July 5, 2000. They were designed to enable RSA staff to better monitor state agencies for performance, especially regarding standards and indicators. The latest files for FY 2007 have been posted on the Performance page for the Basic VR program.

The Protection and Advocacy for Assistive Technology (PAAT) Program: 2007 Annual Report describes the activities of, and outcomes produced by, the PAAT Program during the 12-month period ending Sept. 30 of the fiscal year covered. It is based on data collected through a Program Performance Report (PPR) form approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

The Assistive Technology Act of 1998, as amended by Public Law 108-364 (AT Act of 1998, as amended) requires that the secretary of education submit to Congress a report on the activities funded under that act.

The State Vocational Rehabilitation and Independent Living Programs Information Guide (the Info Guide) is one of a number of sources that RSA uses to assist it to fully understand how the Vocational Rehabilitation and Independent Living programs operate within a state. RSA is sharing the FY 2009 Info Guide and the FY 2009 Monitoring Process and Protocol with state agencies and other interested parties in order to enhance the transparency of the review process and promote collaboration.
