LEADTech: Louisiana Educational Advancement and Development through Technology

Louisiana Educational Advancement and Development through Technology (LEADTech) was funded through the Gates Foundation and was developed by members of the Louisiana Department of Education, state professional organizations, and district and school leaders. It is a technology leadership initiative that prepares school and district administrators, including superintendents, with an in-depth understanding of the role of instructional technology as it relates to total school improvement and increased student learning. Technology Information Center for Administrative Leadership (TICAL)

In 1998, the Santa Cruz County Office of Education was selected to create the Technology Information Center for Administrative Leadership (TICAL). TICAL provides professional development focused on digital school leadership for education administrators in the areas of data-driven decisionmaking, integration of technology into standards-based curriculum, technology planning, professional development needs of staff, financial planning for technology, and operations and maintenance. Since the spring of 2003, Dillon School District 3 has totally reinvented the way that technology is used in our district to improve education. Our involvement with ISTE in their technology Institute was a catalyst for major change and has influenced systemic change in our district. This involvement has lead to successful grant applications with our State Department of Education for several years and helped us continue to expand our technology initiatives. enhancing Missouri’s Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies (eMINTS)

The eMINTS National Center serves as a resource base for Missouri's schools and districts and for educators across the United States who wish to collaborate with eMINTS staff and with each other to replicate the eMINTS instructional model in their educational systems. Ohio’s eLearning–Online Professional Development

COSA Technology Assessment

The Principal Technology Leadership Institute (PTLI) is led by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), an organization that focuses on the knowledge and skills that constitute the “technology standards core” of effective 21st-century leadership. The goal of PTLI is to seamlessly integrate technology into school improvement and to increase CPS school leaders’ understanding of how ISTE’s National Educational Technology Standards and campuswide technology integration relate to the No Child Left Behind Act for systemic improvement.
