Integration of Library Services and the
Big6
Measuring quality and effectiveness in
online learning should include a strong library
services and information literacy component
throughout all online courses. Despite the fact
that students are online, most are not effective
users in searching, using, and finding the online
information needed for learning. Online learning
courses need to integrate in information literacy
components including information literacy systems
such as the Big6.
