ReDesign education

We must re-design the learning system from the bottom up. We have mis- used technology by just adding it to the existing age based classroom. We continue to treat children as passive learners and wonder why they are bored, ''act out'', and join negative gangs. We are too concerned with keeping our adult based work place and its existing physical structure, adult authoritarian roles, textbook industry materials, and part year calendar. Every other industry has redesigned itself with technology permitting improved productivity, worker creativity, and better outcomes or products and services.

We should combine The positive world of both a learning facilitator (human teacher) and access to learning programs, data and lessons ''''just in time'''', to a student guided by the inherently inquisitive nature of childhood.

We have gone less than a mile on a thousand mile journey to really help our children learn effectively and our nation prosper.
