  Stop ReInventing the Wheel

I have been working with the state of Arizona leaders, national leaders and the staff and children at my school for many years, to help find the best of the best solutions, especially in technology. Too many schools want to start from scratch, without trying to find out if someone else (another school or state) might have the answer that they need. If we are all to truly impact children''''s ability to flourish throught the use of technology, we must share, like this, and help one another to do better, not to start over. Too many people are designing and writing classroom software that is not as effective as software already available, for instance. Too few leaders are not using tracking software to make decisions, and why do all schools need to create their own version of a brand new technology plan? Well, the subject statement sums it up...We have to be more willing to help each other in the quest to do better.
