Teamwork
A very interesting and
pertinent news story was featured in our local
newspaper today. It described the establishment of
an information technology academy, now recruiting
for its first year, within an area public high
school. The project, which is funded through a
variety of national, public (college) and private
sources, was the result of the local chamber of
commerce learning from employers that the area was
lacking in a trained IT workforce. A good example
of the community and educators working together to
help respond to a real-life need!
