Funding issues - Staffing - TCO
It is
difficult in small districts for district
administrators to clearly understand the amount of
staffing needed to maintain the technology
infrastructure. The TCO seems to be a good choice
but for small understaffed districts finding the
time to complete the model is overwhelming.
Funding is normally difficult in most small
districts so the technology budget is not what it
needs to be to support or upgrade the
infrastructure thus fristrating teachers and
students in terms of repair, support or speed of
the
networks.
