Revisit Highlights from IEW 2022

Go Global Ed Podcast

  • We proudly highlighted the Go Global Ed Podcast during IEW 2022. The IFLE office administers eight Title VI (domestic) and three Fulbright-Hays (overseas) grant and fellowship programs that strengthen foreign language instruction, area/international studies teaching and research, professional development for educators, and curriculum development at the K-12, graduate, and postsecondary levels. By hearing directly from grantees and fellows, the Go Global Podcast highlights the experiences of IFLE grant and fellowship recipients, provides unique insights into the application process, and explores the long-term value and impact of IFLE programs.

Joint Statement in Support of International Education

  • The U.S. Departments of Education and State – with support from the Departments of Commerce and Homeland Security – issued the Joint Statement of Principles in Support of International Education in 2021. The statement affirms a renewed focus on international education, with an emphasis on international students on U.S. campuses, study abroad for Americans, and the internationalization of U.S. schools and campuses.
