BECOME A FIPSE FIELD READER: FIPSE continually seeks experts in the field of postsecondary education to serve as OPE field readers for grant competitions. You must register in the OPE field reader database to become a FIPSE reader. When registering, be sure to specify the FIPSE grant competitions, as well as other OPE competitions, for which you want to be considered as a reader. For FIPSE grant competitions, you do not need to complete the one-time business registration.
NOTES ON APPLYING: Applicants for FY 2009 grants are required to submit their grant applications electronically using either the government-wide Grants.gov system or the Department of Education's e-Grants system. The system for applying is noted below.

North American Mobility in Higher Education. No competition is scheduled for FY 2009. It is anticipated that a competition will be held in FY 2010.
