Child Find
Child find activities must be comparable to those for public school students.
Child find activities must be developed in consultation with private school officials to assure access.
Child counts are used to determine the portion of federal IDEA funds to be used to serve private school students with disabilities. (Take place Dec. 1 or last Friday in October)
Due process rights of parents of parentally placed private school children with disabilities apply
