Julie Miceli serves as the Chief of Staff and Special Counsel to the General Counsel. In these roles, Ms. Miceli serves as a principal advisor to the General Counsel on Federal education law and policy.

Prior to joining OGC, Ms. Miceli worked at Franczek Radelet practicing education law, and served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Education Section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office. In both capacities, she represented public and private schools and colleges and K-12 educational agencies. Ms. Julie graduated from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, received her BS in Mathematics education cum laude, and taught and volunteered in various Southeastern Ohio schools.
