HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES (HBCUs). This is a list of the colleges and universities maintained by the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Federal agencies and others with an interest in an HBCU, whether or not that institution appears on this list, should obtain or confirm information, including its eligibility for a specific grant, contract, or benefit program, directly with that institution.
