The resource itself turns out to be a very elaborate, well-presented, award-winning unit on teaching fractals to elementary and middle school students. The unit was developed by Cynthia Lanius, a high school math teacher for 8 years who is now Associate Director for Education, Outreach, and Training, Center for Research on Parallel Computation at Rice University.
