One place to start is the Department of Education's homepage -- http://www.ed.gov

ED's homepage is both an online library and newsstand.

It was recently ranked as the 9th most visited website in government.

One of our goals is to provide reports and grant information online the same day they are announced to the public.

I want to point out 4 parts of the homepage:

1. Across the top, there are finding tools.

2. Along the left side, there are major categories, such as the President's Priorities, Funding, Financial Aid for College, Research and Statistics, Programs, Offices, Budget....

3. Down the middle are headlines.

4. At the bottom is a list of our Most Requested Items.

Using these 4 parts, you can find virtually anything on the Department's site.

But back to our question: finding a new report or grant opportunity just released by the Department.
