Communication and Learning

Using Internet tools as communication tools is the most powerful aspect of new technologies. So many decry the use of "computer technology" as standing between the teacher and student, but there are many many "teachers" in the world. Having access to those teachers via the WWW, listservs, chat forums, keypals, bbs's, not as "resources" but as real individuals sharing with others, is the most exciting use of the Internet for learning about the world, oneself, and content.
