Technology as a Tool and not the Objective

Many confuse the use of technology and networking with a self sufficient objective. This is a fallacy. Just as physical tools like the lever and the wheel allow people to accomplish tasks that they could not with their own hands, tools that manage information extend our minds and imaginations. Technology must be a part of life that is used to good purpose while being ignored, much as electricity or the telephone.
