Educational websites in the future could be "taught" to recognize a learner's needs by characters coded into the learner's internet address/identification. Such "smart" websites could adjust their content to provide information which would be keyed to the particular learning styles and requirements of the individual. These capabilities would be similar to some of the front ends already used by schools to display a particular set of programs which have been selected by teachers for the specific needs of their classes.
