I have been using the technology in my curriculum for approximately 5 years. Students are motivated by the use of technology to visualize, communicate and to discover. Beyond the use of technology, though, I have found the use of direct instruction to teach basic skills has taught my students to be able to focus. This focus is necessary to form questions, gather relevant data then reach realistic conclusions based on that data. With the rapid development of technology its future is hard to predict. For me training students to focus, find patterns, and use information with new technologies is the future.
