I think that networking technologies will help reading teachers to motivate their students in this way. The students interests change about every ten minutes. It will be easier to find relavent topics for them to read.

I think that teacher inservice can become completely individualized by using the internet. No longer will teachers have to sit through an inservice that they are not interested in. This is mindboggling to me. The best inservice is teacher initiated. What better way to do teacher inservice than to give them access to the Internet so that they can learn about whatever it is they need?

Best regards,
