For small schools where technology can be seen as both a vital learning tool and an insurmountable financial obstacle, raising the needed funds to acquire new technologies and the staff to support them must become a priority.
All students should have equal opportunity to explore and experience events via the Internet, that could not otherwise happen within the walls of their classrooms. Personal qualities can be fostered through these distance learning activities that expose them to the rest of the world. Their future job satisfaction depends on becoming life-long learners, and achieving workplace readiness through the development of interpersonal skills.
