Educators and Computer Engineers must construct a network technology for individual schools. This technology should provide paperless access to textbooks, applications, learning environments, and the internet. Connectivity should be available in every classroom and from the home of every student. The design objectives should: - provide equal opportunity for all students and their families. - enable each teachers to view the entire class and project any screen to the class or to select students. - allow CD-ROM or internet connectivity to entire classrooms. - allow temporary connectivity to select groups of students, teachers, parents, and community resources.
