Networking technology will provide increased access to information, and there will be increasing use of the technology as network speed and bandwidth increase. Many teachers are fearful of the "dehumanizing" effects of technology, but it is these fears that will serve as a guide in implementing of the technology as a real "tool".

One of the most important uses of networking technology be communication between instructors at all levels leading to the development of a more coordinated curriculum. "Experiential learning" is an important accessory to networked learning and will become more apparent. It will always be extremely important for people to communicate face to face, and our educational processes will need to provide the "socialization" required for interpersonal relationships. Reliance on the technology alone is a power failure away from intellectual indigence.
