Do we risk a Tecno-Titanic?

Context gives meaning to content. Therefore, we have a moral and ethical obligation as educators to revisit the context of education and technology for the 3rd Millennium. A majority of living Nobel Award winning scientists believe that we have perhaps two decades to turn things around.

Proposed: Educational outcomes for the 21st Century include 1) The knowledge of planetary conditions, 2) the skills to do something about it, and 3) the willingness to take action (the ?I can!? attitude).

At this time in history do we dare to risk rearranging the deck chairs on the educational Titanic, but doing it with a computer?
