The Internet has a tremendous capacity to enhance the learning environment for "special" learners. "On the Internet, non one knows you're handicapped."

There are so many students with great inherent abilities who won't ever raise their hand, won't ever be on the football teaam, won't win awards nor will they be cheerleaders or on the debate team. But until you've seen such a student shyly begin pecking away at the keyboard formulating a poem, question or answer for the world to see/read and respond to, you've missed something.
