As a Principal of a progressive district in Nebraska, we have experienced first hand how the Internet and e-mail have enhanced the educational experiences of our students. We are in the planning stage of networking the buildings, classrooms, offices, etc. I am a firm believer that networking and other technologies will provide an almost infinite number of educational opportunities for our students. Since we are located many miles from major metropolitan areas, technologies such as intenet and networking have made the world a much smaller place for our students. Technology has been a great tool in assisting our students in becoming self-directed learners.
