EDUCATION FUNDS AT RISK AS BIPARTISAN BUDGET AGREEMENT COLLAPSES AND CONGRESS DECIDES TO GO HOME
On November 3, 2000, Congress decided to end work on the federal budget for fiscal year 2001 and go home until after the election.
