A national, nonprofit clearinghouse for children's television, radio, audio, multimedia, and video, KIDSNET produces and disseminates information electronically and in print on high-quality children's programming to education institutions and organizations, as well as to the public, through study guides and monthly publications. A major goal of KIDSNET is to demonstrate how television can motivate and enhance learning.
Kiwanis International is an organization of 8,500 community service clubs in approximately 81 countries. Founded in 1915, it has a long tradition of projects to help youth and improve the community. Many Kiwanis clubs have supported literacy tutoring programs.
